It all started with my farm stand...

Hey, I'm Alexandra!

I am born and raised here in beautiful British Columbia, and I am very lucky to have lived here my whole life. I grew up on a hobby farm with horses, chickens, a goat, and a couple of cats and dogs. I have some of the most amazing memories on the farm, from trail riding every weekend to shoveling sh*t in a big barn almost every day. I was an extremely hard worker at such a young age, but I was so happy to be around animals that none of it felt like a chore, but rather a passion.

One of my core memories that I reminisce about was my farm stand. I was a motivated farm girl with a knack for finding a side hustle. I decided I wanted to utilizing my driveway and sell something, and what better to sell than some horse manure! I had an endless supply! I first started out with some black garbage bags and the John Deer. My dad helped me fill some bags and transport them down to the end of the driveway. We managed to fill 10 bags of manure, which sell for $1.00 per bag. After about 30 minutes, I head down to check and see if I had made any sales, and believe it or not, ALL my bags were gone and I made my first $10 (I was around 6 years old).

This right here started my journey as an entrepreneur, selling everything and anything I could at the end of the driveway. Products included horse manure, flowers, vegetables, farm eggs, you name it, I tried to sell it! As I got older and finished grade school, I had many different jobs ranging from cashier to retail clerk, even crowned the Calzone Queen at a local pizza shop. During university, I got my first commission sales job, and I felt on top of the world. This job opened my eyes to the possibilities when it came to different types of work and pay structures. The best part was the harder I worked, the more money I could make. People genuinely enjoyed purchasing from me because they trusted me. I was working part-time and going to university, but still making a great wage because I was on commission.

As time passed, I finished school and wanted to pursue something new because I'd been with this company for 6 years and finally got my education. I ended up getting a of couple different jobs that paid well, had great benefits, and best of all, I learned some new skills. The only problem was I would get bored with my job or just find it unfulfilling and unmotivated. Earning a decent salary wasn’t bad, but I was stuck with the same wage in my gut, it didn't feel right. I decided to move on and leave a cushy job where I had weekends off, lots of vacation days, and a retirement pension that would have built up. I bit the bullet and got into Automotive sales, which I excelled in for 3 years even with it being a very male-dominated environment. I was second in sales at my dealership, and the first in sales had been working there for 18 years.

Unfortunately, Covid19 was thrown at the world, and it made me realize I cannot rely on an in-person job that involves so much physical effort to make a living. I felt I needed to try a work-from-home position, or find something online.

I managed to find a great job working from home for a really great company, and I have all the perks that come along with it. However, I still felt the need for something that could work in the background, something that doesn’t need my full 7-8hrs of attention per day.

Over Christmas 2022, I stumbled across Affiliate Marketing and learning 'how to go digital' by creating a time-freedom-framework. I got this special feeling when I first started researching and learning more and more as each day went on. I started to feel like I found what I was looking for, as cliche as that sounds. I have always wanted to have the power to choose what I sell to people. The opportunity came and taught me that I can sell what I believe in, and truly make a difference.

I remember one day at the dealership I was raving about my new air fryer (right before air fryers really got popular), and surprise surprise, 5 of my coworkers ended up buying an air fryer within a month of me talking about it. A couple of my friends said to me that I should be selling the stuff I talk about. Little did I know a couple of years later I would learn about this opportunity that has changed my life for the better, and hopefully I will be able to change other people's lives as well.
